Dewine is spending $10,000's of dollars slated to defeat Democrats this fall in support of Simpson in order to keep his Ohio GOP Chairmanship.
To date over 200,000 full color postcasrds have been mailed out on Simpson's behalf by Dewine.
Dewine even changed the Ohio GOP bylaws to make sure Simpson is seated win or lose.
The Governors campaign office says this will not stand, but I have to win the peoples vote.

I'm Scott A. Nichols and I'm running to bring the Tea Party values of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets to the republican state central committee in Columbus.
As your representative on the State Central Committee I will represent the counties of Clermont, Brown, and Scioto.
I have been a resident of Clermont County since 1992 and also own and operate a small business here. My wife Rebecca is a volunteer in the community for Salvation Army and other non-profit organizations. Our children have grown up here and become productive citizens in our community.
In 2008 I got involved with the Tea Party movement. I met Mike Wilson, founder of the Cincinnati Tea Party, and marched along side him and his family on 9/12/2009 in Washington DC . At that now legendary rally, Mike called me to action. He said "what are you going to do after today when you go home?" I came back and met Ted Stevenot and Travis Hall and together we started the Union Twsp Tea Party. From that sprung many other Tea Party groups across the counties of Clermont, Brown, and Scioto. The movement grew and grew to become the Clermont County Tea Party. We now have to hold our monthly meetings in the Holiday Inn Eastgate Ballroom. They are the first tuesday of each month from 7-9pm.
I serve the group as the education chair and we sponsor classes on the US Constitution and US Government throughout the year at no cost with the finest of instructors.
We have recently created the Clermont Liberty PAC which allows us to publish voter guides, give money to candidates who support our values, and many other things the Tea Party is limited in doing.
The reason I'm running for this office is to bring Tea Party values to the republican State Central Committee in Columbus. The Tea Party groups across the state are running candidates for the purpose of getting real conservative candidates on the ballot in Ohio for statewide and federal races. If you were frustrated with RINO politicians like Bob Taft and George Voinovich then you understand the importance of the position.
My opponents in the race have been hand picked by the republican establishment in Columbus. They are not thrilled with the idea of a Tea Party person representing true conservatives. One of my opponents actually said "it is alright to be conservative, I guess, but you have to have ideas." Conservatisim is the greatest idea government has had or will ever have!
